The Northwest Studio is a space for a pilates instructor outside of Portland. The vertical cedar rainscreen is stained with Swedish pine tar, allowing the building to camouflage in a stand of pines.  A north-facing glass garage door presents views to the nearby forest and scrolls into the ceiling on days when fresh air and breezes are welcome inside.
